As a touring dance theatre company, our approach to dance skills development grows from nearly ten years’ experience of teaching dance to thousands of people from all over the world. We deliver a broad range of workshops, residencies, projects and professional development opportunities each year. From beginners’ creative sessions in schools through to advanced level company classes at universities and performance venues.
Introducing people to a different side of dance, our style is a real mix of movement techniques. It’s also super accessible and loads of fun, which means no matter what your age or experience level, you can get involved… and we promise you’ll enjoy every minute!
PROFESSIONAL INTENSIVE: Following on from our hugely successful first ever professional intensive at HOME in Manchester last year, we are thrilled to announce we will lead a second intensive course for dance professionals in November 2017. More news on this coming soon.
COMPANY CLASS: Free professional level Company Class takes place anytime we have rehearsals in Manchester. To find out more information and book on visit our Eventbrite page here.
Learning and participation is integral to what we do. Everywhere we perform, we lead a dance class or workshop.
We're currently looking to work with schools and groups around Witness This, our latest new production, which explores issues surrounding mental health. If you are interested in a workshop and getting involved, please contact sam@companychameleon.com
CHAMELEON YOUTH: Our dance theatre group for Greater Manchester based at Manchester Central Library, offers young people the opportunity to develop as young dance artists, learn from a professional touring company and perform at a variety of events across the UK.
